You will learn the extraordinary story of the revival of Polish winemaking. You will discover how the passion of pioneers, new resistant grape varieties, and... climate changes made the impossible possible. We will taste carefully selected wines that best reflect the character of this change. You will discover surprising aromatics and refreshing acidity that have become Poland’s hallmark. These will include white wines, surprising reds, and elegant sparkling wines. During the Workshop, we will talk about unique varieties such as solaris and johanniter, which have defined our style. Together, we will consider what the future may hold for winemaking. During the tasting, we will explore key regions of Polish winemaking. We will try wines from Lower Silesia, emerging as one of the leaders on the Polish scene, and from the Lubusz Voivodeship with the historic capital in Zielona Góra. We will also focus on the south of the country, visiting Lesser Poland, Subcarpathia, as well as the areas around Sandomierz and the Lesser Poland Vistula Gorge, discovering the unique character of these places.
